In Love...

My darling girl, I fall more in love with you every second. It sounds hard to believe, but it could not be more true. Absolutely, without a doubt, like no other love. I remember in high school, and the first years of college having the conversation with girlfriends about how to know if you love someone, or if you are IN love with someone. Who knows what conclusion we ever came to, but I am quite certain it would have been something like, "you just KNOW when you're IN love," and boy oh boy Miss Ava, I sure do just KNOW. You are so much more than I could have ever dreamed of.   In your sassy moments I can see little glimpses of your young Mom and what I imagine would have been your young Daddy. I don't think that you will be a troublemaker, but I think that you might just live on the edge and push the limits. Our baby girl is 9 months old!

Oooh, baby girl, I am sure that I say it every month, but this time I mean it - you get sweeter and sassier every month Miss Ava! You are becoming more of your own person as each day passes, and although I will never ever (especially in the next couple of months) wish for the days to pass, I just can't wait to see what you do and who you become every day. My sweet muffin, you have discovered my eyelashes and you love to play with them while you are eating. I have come to love it and sometimes even close my eyes now in the hopes that you will play with my lashes! Our snuggly girl, when you wake up from your nap, or in the morning, you are always SO excited to see your Panda. You squeeze him tight in your arms and fold your body in half to squish him close to you. He is definitely your favourite, but you are starting to love all kinds of stuffies.
